President & Founder

Lyn is founder and president of LMF Studios, an award-winning firm specializing in branding, design, display, and consulting for hospitality and corporate spaces. With over 35 years of experience, she helps clients develop healthy, purposeful, and productive spaces that move hearts, minds, and merchandise.

Her expertise spans design, business, science, consumer behavior, and environmental psychology, enabling her to create designs that often exceed her client’s goals. Lyn’s work demonstrates the positive influence of a well–designed environment on both occupant behavior and a business’s bottom line.

Lyn serves on multiple boards and taskforces and in 2023 she was recognized as one of southeastern Wisconsin’s “Notable Women in Construction & Design.”

Lyn loves sharing her knowledge and expertise with others to benefit businesses and communities to elevate the experience for customers, guests, and visitors. To that end, she has taught at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, developed course curriculums for senior-level university students, manufacturers, and retailers, and delivered CEU-level courses for interior designers. 

She has spoken to thousands of professionals, students, and civic leaders on topics ranging from how our brains process information to creating engaging, sensory experiences for occupants.

As the author of the comprehensive store design workbook “Designs that Move Minds & Merchandise,” Lyn has also published trend-setting and “How To” articles in numerous trade publications. Her work has been acknowledged over 160 times in over 85 different publications.

In her 20+ years of work as a speaker and consultant for the National Main Street Center, she has helped over 70 communities define and strengthen their mission, identity, and business districts.
